Surrogacy FAQs
Our goal is to empower you to make the best decisions for your journey.
Here are a few of the most frequently asked questions we get from clients who are embarking down the path of selecting a gestational surrogate to assist in growing their family. We know you will have more questions, so please reach out to us and we can schedule a free consultation.
Our goal is to match you within 6-12 weeks.
The process will be to find a candidate you are interested in and have the physician at the clinic you are working with review her prior pregnancy and delivery records to ensure she is a suitable candidate for your family building journey. If the physician approves her medical records, then we will confirm the match between you and the agency the surrogate is working with. This step often involves an agency agreement – before you sign anything with the agency we will ask your fertility attorney to review – just to be sure everything is outlined appropriately. Once the agency agreement is signed, the agency will send a match sheet over to the clinic and get the surrogate’s in-person medical screening with the physician scheduled.
Short answer, yes. However, there is a limited supply of surrogates to help all the couples who need to grow their family. Amplify has a relationship with some amazing agency partners who have pre-screened some of the best women to become surrogates, this helps to reduce the wait time and streamline the process for you. There are also hundreds of agencies out there and not all function to the same standards, our goal is to include an agency in the fold who is reputable and can seamlessly facilitate this process with us.
